Not the Board or Human Resources can force you to take accumulated leave. You can NEVER in the circumstances forfeit accumulated leave. Please do not take your accumulated leave based on the threat that you will forfeit it.
We are still waiting for the SABC to respond to our letter in respect of the leave issue.

Thanks Bemawu. This Leave announcement by the board really disturbed me and I felt like I had to take this leave under duress. And what would be the point of this leave when taken under duress?
They probably want us to take this leave so they don't have to pay us for it when we get retrenched!
