Labour Court

The matter has been postponed once again and to 3 July. CWU and MWASA agreed to not proceed with a strike. More details to follow as soon as I have more information. Someone is making money here...

We really need this to end. At the moment CWU and MWASA are playing right into the hands of our corrupt Management. Why can they not realise that themselves?

Hallo Hannes

It really does seem that Mr Weber may have been a bit creative in his affidavit. He seems to have forgotten that we were all there in the meeting when they opened negotiations on 20 May.

And he seems to believe we have a fully functioning Bargaining Forum.

I want what he smokes. Let us hope the new judge (literally new - second day on the bench), uses the seven days she has given herself to do so, to apply her Ladyship's mind to the matter without redefining the word "dispute" for ever...

In the mean time, let the record reflect that the members are getting angrier and angrier.

The minister seems a tad slow in reacting - he is only now mentioning that he would have to have a chat with the minister of finance.

We hope he has the political will to put honest people in charge this time...
